No, Friends of Nova is not affiliated with the University. However, Friends of Nova is the official NIL organization of the University through its partnership with PlayFly Sports.

No. Friends of Nova is available to engage with any Villanova student athletes looking to take advantage of their Name, Image and Likeness opportunities and who participate in any intercollegiate sport at Villanova University.

You can contribute monetarily to Friends of Nova on a one-time or recurring basis and help the program meet the contractual obligations it incurs in licensing the publicity rights of Villanova student-athletes.

Your business can advertise with FON and become a named sponsor on The Friends of Nova website. This, too, helps FON meet its NIL-contractual obligations. The opportunity may exist that contributions could be tax deductible as an advertising expense for your business,  but we encourage you consult your own tax professional.

You can contact FON about utilizing a specific Villanova student-athlete for advertising, product development and marketing, or for any other legitimate business purpose. FON can work to be very flexible and adept at facilitating such agreements.

You can purchase FON subscriptions, purchase FON merchandise, Villanova player-branded merchandise (when available), and participate in unique and exclusive fan-player events (To Be Determined and to be offered in the future as opportunities arise).

No. Friends of Nova is not a 501(c)(3) entity nor does it currently have an associated 501(c)(3) entity to which contributions are tax deductible. FON is aware of NIL programs which are currently 501(c)(3) entities or NIL programs that are attempting to gain tax exempt status and is monitoring those developments.If in the future changes or rulings indicate a FON may function as a charitable entity, FON may add charitable features to its program.

While you'll see Men's Basketball, Women's Basketball, and Women's Soccer student-athletes prominently featured on our site (all under contract with Friends of Nova), you can support any one of the 24 varsity sports by making a contribution and selecting that sport.
